Academic Position: Assistant Professor
Francis F. Pavloudakis holds a Diploma (1992) and a PhD (2001) of the Mineral Resources Engineering Department of The Technical University of Crete (Greece) and an MSc Degree (1995) in Environmental Engineering of The University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK). He started his professional carrier as junior researcher from the Greek Institute of Solid Fuels Technology & Application (1996-2000). From 2000 and for 21 years he worked in the lignite mines of Public Power Corporation SA in Ptolemais basin, first as an environmental expert and then as head of the sector of mining studies of South Field Mine. In the same period, he worked also as part-time lecturer in several academic institutions. From December 2021 is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering of The University of Western Macedonia.
